It presents dharmic readiness and devotion expressed outwardly as yātrā (sacred journey) and mahotsava (festival), showing that auspicious action done in reverence supports the soul’s movement toward Shiva-centered grace.
The verse reflects Saguna-oriented devotion—honoring Shiva’s divine līlā through communal celebration and procession—an approach that naturally complements temple worship of the Shiva-Linga through utsava, pūjā, and public dharmic rejoicing.
It suggests cultivating devotion through disciplined participation in sacred observances—such as joining a yātrā or utsava with mantra-japa (especially the Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and a reverent, sattvic mindset.
