कामभस्म-प्रार्थना: रत्याः शङ्करं प्रति विनयः / Rati’s Supplication to Śaṅkara regarding Kāma’s Ashes
जीवयात्रा पतिं मे हि कामव्या पारमात्मनि । कुरु दूरं च सन्तापं समविश्लेषहेतुकम्
jīvayātrā patiṃ me hi kāmavyā pāramātmani | kuru dūraṃ ca santāpaṃ samaviśleṣahetukam
“Ôi Đấng Tối Thượng (Paramātman), phu quân con là chỗ nương của hành trình sinh mệnh; xin hãy thành tựu khát nguyện của con. Xin xua tan thật xa nỗi sầu do ly biệt, nỗi đau dày vò trái tim.”
Parvati
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
It expresses viraha-bhakti—devotion intensified by separation—where Parvati turns personal longing into prayer to the Paramatman Shiva, asking that the burning grief of disunion be removed through divine grace and inner union.
Parvati addresses Shiva as both Paramatman (transcendent) and pati (personal Lord), mirroring Shaiva practice where the devotee worships Saguna Shiva in the Linga while realizing Him as the Nirguna Supreme beyond form.
Transform separation into japa and dhyana: repeat the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with focused remembrance of Shiva as the inner Self, offering mental worship to the Linga and praying for the cooling of santāpa (inner burning).
