Phạm Thiên nói: Nghe như vậy lời của Smara (Kāma), Đấng Tối Thượng liền hoan hỷ. Biển cả từ bi, mỉm cười, cất tiếng “Oṃ”, rồi mới phán bảo với chàng.
Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: ॐ
Type: gayatri
Role: teaching
It highlights Śiva as Parameśvara whose grace (anugraha) arises even in tense cosmic situations; His utterance of “Oṃ” signals auspicious, sovereign divine will guiding the next instruction.
The verse presents Śiva in a personal (saguṇa) mode—smiling and speaking—showing that devotion meets a responsive Lord; “Oṃ” functions as a sacred preface to worship and prayer offered to Śiva, including in Liṅga-upāsanā.
Begin japa or pūjā with mindful recitation of “Oṃ,” then proceed to Śiva-mantra practice (commonly linked with the Pañcākṣarī, “Oṃ Namaḥ Śivāya”) with a calm, reverent mind.
