चन्दनागरुकस्तूरीचारुकुंकुम भूषितम् । रत्नदर्पणहस्तं च कज्जलोज्ज्वललोचनम्
candanāgarukastūrīcārukuṃkuma bhūṣitam | ratnadarpaṇahastaṃ ca kajjalojjvalalocanam

It highlights the auspiciousness (śubhatva) of divine form—outer adornment here signals inner purity and grace, guiding the devotee toward bhakti-filled contemplation and sacred darśana.
While the Liṅga points to the transcendent (nirguṇa) reality, this verse supports saguna-upāsanā—meditating on a gracious, describable form to steady devotion, which in Śaiva Siddhānta matures into realization of Pati (Śiva) beyond form.
Practice devotional visualization (dhyāna) during pūjā—after offering gandha (sandalpaste) and other fragrances, contemplate the radiant eyes and auspicious presence, and recite the Pañcākṣarī mantra: “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
