मेनायाः क्रोध-विलापः — Menā’s Lament and Reproach
to the Sage
शङ्करो जगतः कर्ता भर्ता हर्ता तथैव च । न त्वं जानासि तद्रूपं कथन्दुःखं समीहसे
śaṅkaro jagataḥ kartā bhartā hartā tathaiva ca | na tvaṃ jānāsi tadrūpaṃ kathanduḥkhaṃ samīhase
Śaṅkara chính là Đấng Tạo Hóa, Đấng Bảo Trì và cũng là Đấng Tiêu Dung của vũ trụ. Khi ngươi chưa thật biết bản thể chân thực của Ngài, sao lại cố ý tìm cầu khổ não?
Parvati
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It teaches that sorrow is rooted in ignorance of Śiva’s true nature; realizing Śaṅkara as the supreme Lord (Pati) who governs creation, preservation, and dissolution turns the mind away from self-chosen suffering and toward liberation.
The Liṅga and other saguna forms are compassionate supports for devotees to approach the same Śiva whose real nature is ultimately beyond limited conception; steady worship matures into insight that dissolves grief.
Regular japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with devotion, supported by simple Śiva-pūjā (e.g., offering water to the Liṅga and wearing vibhūti/Tripuṇḍra), is a direct practice to replace duḥkha with Śiva-consciousness.
