It highlights humility and right counsel: sincere salutations, attentive listening, and a gracious mind are presented as the dharmic way to respond when a soul (the daughter) expresses a sacred resolve aligned with higher good.
Though not directly mentioning the Liṅga, it supports the Shaiva narrative framework where devotion matures through consent, guidance, and auspicious action—preparing the ground for Saguna Shiva worship expressed through vows, worship, and righteous decisions.
The practical takeaway is to cultivate suprasannatā (a calm, благ gracious mind) before undertaking vows or worship—approaching the Divine with namas (salutation), listening to dharmic guidance, and then acting with steadiness.
