Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It affirms the inseparable unity of Śiva (Puruṣa, the Lord) and Śakti (the divine power), teaching that liberation and divine grace arise from recognizing their non-separation while still honoring Śiva as Pati (the supreme Lord) in devotion.
In Linga worship, Śiva is adored as the manifest (saguṇa) Lord, and Śakti is understood as His inherent power; the verse supports worship that sees the Linga not as a mere symbol, but as Śiva with Śakti—one reality approached through sacred form.
Meditate on Śiva-Śakti aikya (their unity) while japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and reinforce devotion with traditional Śaiva observances such as Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as reminders of Śiva’s grace and lordship.
