Śivapūjā-stuti: Deva-Ṛṣi-Paramparāyāṃ Śaṃkara-caritasya Prastāvaḥ
Prelude to Śaṃkara’s narrative and the lineage of Śiva-worship
ततः शिवाज्ञया तस्मात्तासु राज्ञस्स्वयं हरिः । चतुर्भिश्चैव रूपैश्चाविर्बभूव नृपात्मजः
tataḥ śivājñayā tasmāttāsu rājñassvayaṃ hariḥ | caturbhiścaiva rūpaiścāvirbabhūva nṛpātmajaḥ
Bấy giờ, theo thánh lệnh của Đức Śiva, chính Hari (Viṣṇu) hiện thân tại đó vì nhà vua, xuất hiện làm hoàng tử—con của vua—trong bốn hình tướng khác nhau.
