ज्योतिर्लिङ्गमाहात्म्य-प्रस्तावना तथा सोमनाथ-प्रसङ्गः

सोमेश्वरश्च नामासीद्विख्यातो भुवन त्रये । क्षयकुष्ठादिरोगाणां नाशकः पूजनाद्द्विजाः

someśvaraśca nāmāsīdvikhyāto bhuvana traye | kṣayakuṣṭhādirogāṇāṃ nāśakaḥ pūjanāddvijāḥ

Ngài được gọi là Someshvara, lừng danh khắp ba cõi. Hỡi các bậc hai lần sinh, do thờ phụng Ngài, bệnh hao mòn, bệnh phong (kuṣṭha) và các chứng bệnh khác đều bị tiêu trừ.
