दधामि ते सुतानां वृष्णे न पूर्वपाय्यम् । दिवो अमुष्य शासतो दिवं यय दिवावसो ॥

dadhā́mi te sutā́nāṃ vṛ́ṣṇe ná pūrva-pā́yyam | divó amúṣya śā́sato dívaṃ yáya divāvaso ||

Con đặt dâng lên Ngài Soma (โสมะ) đã được ép, hỡi Đấng hùng mãnh, một chén như thuở xưa, phần uống trước tiên. Từ cõi trời của pháp lệnh mà đến, hãy vào cõi trời này; xin cho niềm hoan lạc cổ xưa ấy trở thành sức mạnh trong chúng con.
