अग्ने वृधान आहुतिं पुरोळाशं जातवेदः । जुषस्व तिरोअह्न्यम् ॥

ágné vṛdhāná āhútiṃ puroḷā́śaṃ jātavedāḥ | juṣásva tiró-ahnyam ||

Hỡi Agni, đấng đang tăng trưởng quyền năng; hỡi Jātavedas, xin hoan hỷ thọ nhận lễ vật đã dâng—bánh tế (puroḍāśa) đã nắn thành—và hưởng lễ hiến này, lễ đưa chúng ta vượt khỏi ngày thường để vào cõi rộng lớn thiêng liêng.
