अग्ने अपां समिध्यसे दुरोणे नित्यः सूनो सहसो जातवेदः । सधस्थानि महयमान ऊती ॥

agne apā́m sám idhyase duroṇé nítyaḥ sū́no sahaso jā́tavedāḥ | sadhásthāni maháyamāna ūtī́ ||

Hỡi Agni, Ngài được nhóm lên trong ngôi nhà giữa các dòng nước; vĩnh cửu, hỡi con của sức mạnh, Jātavedas—Đấng biết mọi sinh khởi. Làm cho những chỗ ngồi chung của sự hiện hữu trở nên rộng lớn, Ngài mở rộng chúng bằng sự che chở và ơn dưỡng nuôi của mình.
