त्रिपादूर्ध्व उदैत्पुरुषः पादोऽस्येहाभवत्पुनः । ततो विष्वङ्व्यक्रामत्साशनानशने अभि ॥

Transliteration

tripā́d ūrdhvó udaít púruṣaḥ pā́do ’syehā́bhavat púnaḥ | táto víṣvaṅ vy àkrāmat sāśanānaśáne abhí ||

Translation

Ba phần tư của Puruṣa vươn lên phía trên; một phần tư của Ngài lại trở thành ở đây. Từ đó Ngài lan tỏa khắp bốn phương, hướng đến cả kẻ ăn và cái bị ăn (cả cái không ăn)—thấm nhập mọi hình thái của sự sống, cả những gì tưởng như bất động.
