वि रक्षो वि मृधो जहि वि वृत्रस्य हनू रुज । वि मन्युमिन्द्र वृत्रहन्नमित्रस्याभिदासतः ॥
Transliteration
ví rákṣo ví mṛ́dho jahí ví vṛtrásya hanū́ rujá | ví manyúm indra vṛtrahan amítrasya abhídāsataḥ ||
Translation
Hãy xua tan các thế lực hắc ám (rakṣas), hãy xua tan mọi cuộc công kích; hãy đánh gục chúng. Hãy nghiền nát hàm của Kẻ Ngăn Trở (Vṛtra). Hỡi Indra, Đấng sát Vṛtra, xin làm tan cơn phẫn nộ của kẻ thù đang toan áp đảo chúng con.
