प्रवेश-निवारणम् (Preventing Indrajit’s Banyan-Tree Rite) / Indrajit Confronts Vibhishana
अतिमाननी च बालश्चदुर्विनीतश्चराक्षस ।बद्धस्त्वंकालपाशेनब्रूहिमांयद्यदिच्छसि ।।6.87.27।।
atimānī ca bālaś ca durvinītaś ca rākṣasa | baddhas tvaṃ kāla-pāśena brūhi māṃ yadyad icchasi || 6.87.27 ||
Hỡi rākṣasa, ngươi kiêu mạn, trẻ dại và vô kỷ luật; ngươi đã bị trói bởi thòng lọng của Tử Thần. Muốn nói gì thì cứ nói với ta.
"Mighty son of Ravana having offered oblations for all beings he comes to the battlefield. (Said Vibheeshana)"
Adharma rooted in pride and indiscipline leads inevitably to accountability; dharma speaks truth about consequences even when it is harsh.
Vibhīṣaṇa rebukes Indrajit’s character and declares him destined for death, yet allows him to speak—an open challenge before combat.
Fearless truth-speaking (satya-vākya) and moral firmness—Vibhīṣaṇa does not soften reality to appease power.
