Nghe lời của Kumbhakarṇa—thân hình vĩ đại, sức mạnh phi thường, cánh tay hùng tráng—Mahodara liền cất tiếng đáp.
Hearing the words of mighty Kumbhakarna, of massive body and round arms Mahodara said.
As a narrative hinge, it underscores accountable discourse: words in counsel lead to response and consequence—central to rajadharma and ethical deliberation.
A transition: after Kumbhakarṇa’s declarations, Mahodara begins his reply, moving the scene forward.
Attentiveness and deliberation—listening before responding in counsel.
