कुम्भकर्णोपदेशः
Kumbhakarna’s Counsel and War-Boast to Ravana
तदिचेन्द्राद्भयं राजन्यदि चापिस्वयम्भुवः ।ततोऽहंनाशयिष्यामिनैशंतमइवांशुमान् ।।6.63.52।।अपिदेवाश्शयिष्यन्तेक्रुद्धेमयिमहीतले ।
tad iced indrād bhayaṃ rājan yadi cāpi svayambhuvaḥ |
tato 'haṃ nāśayiṣyāmi naiśaṃ tama ivāṃśumān ||
api devāḥ śayiṣyante kruddhe mayi mahītale |
Tâu Đại vương, nếu Người sợ cả Indra, hay thậm chí Đấng Tự Sinh (Brahmā), thì thần sẽ tiêu trừ nỗi sợ ấy như mặt trời xua tan bóng tối đêm đen. Khi thần nổi giận trên mặt đất này, ngay cả chư thiên cũng sẽ ngã gục.
