सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च
Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation
ऊचुस्संश्रवणेयेमांद्विजाःकार्तान्तिकाश्शुभाम् ।तेऽद्यसर्वेहतेरामेज्ञानिनोऽनृतवादिनः ।।।।
ūcuḥ saṃśravaṇe ye māṃ dvijāḥ kārtāntikāḥ śubhām |
te 'dya sarve hate rāme jñānino 'nṛtavādinaḥ ||
“Nếu hôm nay Rāma đã bị sát hại, thì những vị Bà-la-môn và các nhà chiêm tinh từng nói với ta về số mệnh cát tường—những người được xưng là bậc trí—ắt nay đều đã nói dối.”
Sita who was like deity, on hearing the words of consolation, spoken by Trijata, greeted Trijata with palms together.
