इन्द्रजितः अन्तर्धानयुद्धं

बाणपातान्तरेरामंपतितंपुरुषर्षभम् ।।6.45.25।।सतत्रलक्ष्मणोदृष्टवानिराशोजीवितेऽभवत् ।
bāṇapātāntare rāmaṃ patitaṃ puruṣarṣabham |
sa tatra lakṣmaṇo dṛṣṭvā nirāśo jīvite 'bhavat ||6.45.25||
Thấy Rāma—bậc thượng nhân trong loài người—ngã xuống trong tầm mưa tên, Lakṣmaṇa tại đó tuyệt vọng, đến cả mạng sống mình cũng chẳng còn thiết giữ.
