Transliteration

dṛṣṭvā dāśarathir laṅkāṃ citra-dhvaja-patākinīm |

jagāma sahasā sītāṃ dūyamānena cetasā ||

Translation

Khi Đấng con của Daśaratha trông thấy Laṅkā rực rỡ với muôn vàn cờ xí, tâm Ngài lập tức hướng về Sītā; lòng Ngài bừng cháy trong nỗi ưu sầu khắc khoải.
