युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः
War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates
ब्रवीमित्वांहितंवाक्यंक्रियतामौर्ध्वदैहिकम् ।सुदृष्टाक्रियतांलङ्काजीवितंतेमयिस्थितम् ।।6.41.73।।
bravīmi tvāṁ hitaṁ vākyaṁ kriyatām aurdhva-daihikam | su-dṛṣṭā kriyatāṁ laṅkā jīvitaṁ te mayi sthitam ||6.41.73||
Ta nói lời này vì lợi ích cho ngươi: hãy chuẩn bị các nghi lễ hậu sự. Hãy để Lanka lo liệu tang nghi; mạng sống ngươi nay nằm trong tay ta.
Having addressed it in well- meaning words, Rama said 'I will do you obsequies as no one will be left in Lanka to do your last rites'.
