Vừa thấy phu quân nằm giữa bụi cát chiến trường, họ liền nhào xuống trên thân thể chàng—như những dây leo trong vườn bị chặt đứt rồi rũ sụp.
In the battlefield they saw their husband lying, and precipitately fell on his limbs like broken creepers in a garden.
The verse reveals the tragic aftermath of adharma: when a leader falls, dependents collapse too—ethically warning against reckless, unrighteous rule.
The women reach the fallen Rāvaṇa and throw themselves upon his body in shock and grief.
Fidelity and attachment (as a human emotion) are foregrounded; the epic uses it to deepen ethical reflection on the cost of wrongdoing.
