Indra’s Chariot Offered to Rāma; The Duel Intensifies

Chư Thiên, Gandharva và Kinnara đều nói: “Trận chiến này không cân xứng—Rāma đứng dưới đất, còn Rākṣasa lại đánh từ trên chiến xa.”
While Ravana with ten heads and arms was ready in the forefront of the battle, Sri Rama had no possibility to fix his arrows.
Dharma includes fairness in conflict: even in war, unequal advantage is criticized, implying a moral expectation of balanced combat.
Celestial beings observe the duel and judge it improper because Rāma is disadvantaged by fighting on foot.
The verse highlights Rāma’s endurance and integrity—he continues despite disadvantage, while the cosmos calls for a fairer condition.
