हनूमदुपदेशः रावणस्य च कोपः
Hanuman’s Counsel to Ravana and Ravana’s Wrath
सर्वलोकेश्वरस्यैवं कृत्वा विप्रियमुत्तमम्।रामस्य राजसिंहस्य दुर्लभं तव जीवितम्।।।।
sarvalokeśvarasyaivaṃ kṛtvā vipriyam uttamam |
rāmasya rājasiṃhasya durlabhaṃ tava jīvitam ||
Đã gây nên điều tối đại bất kính như vậy đối với Rāma—Đấng Chúa Tể của muôn cõi, sư tử giữa các bậc quân vương—thì mạng sống của ngươi khó lòng giữ được.
"Rama is the supreme lord of all worlds, a lion among kings. Having pained him it is very difficult for you to sustain your life after offending him to this extent.
Adharma against the righteous sovereign brings inevitable consequence; the verse teaches accountability—wrong done to the innocent (Sītā) and to dharma’s guardian (Rāma) rebounds upon the wrongdoer.
Hanumān intensifies the warning: Rāvaṇa’s offence is not minor but a ‘great wrong’ against Rāma, making Rāvaṇa’s survival unlikely.
Rāma’s majesty as a just king (rāja-siṃha) and moral authority (sarvalokeśvara), implying his duty to punish adharma.
