Bấy giờ Tārā thấy phu quân nằm trên đáy kiệu, liền nâng đầu chàng đặt lên đùi mình, đau đớn khôn cùng mà cất tiếng ai than.
Seeing her husband lying in the palanquin, Tara, full of grief placed Vali's head on her lap and cried.
The verse highlights dharma as steadfast relationship-duty: Tārā’s devoted care and mourning embody spousal fidelity and compassion.
Tārā approaches Vāli’s body on the palanquin and begins her lament, holding him tenderly.
Conjugal loyalty and tenderness (pativratā-bhāva), expressed through grief and care.
