Tara’s Counsel to Vali on Sugriva’s Roar and Rama’s Alliance
'O valiant Vali! anger has overtaken you like the flood of a river. It is natural for you to be angry at this time, but shake off your anger just as the wise discard a flower garland already used up.
Self-mastery is Dharma: anger is compared to a flood—powerful but dangerous—so a righteous person must let it pass and act with discernment.
Tārā counsels Vāli to calm himself before confronting Sugrīva.
Tārā’s wisdom (prajñā): she urges emotional discipline and timely restraint.
