Bấy giờ Sugrīva—rực sáng như mặt trời mới mọc, bước đi với dáng oai của sư tử—thấy Rāma, bậc thiện xảo trong việc quyết đoán, liền cất lời như sau.
On hearing Rama's words, the golden-hued Sugriva roared in a fierce voice as if it would piece the sky.
Dharma here is expressed through right partnership: Sugriva recognizes Rama’s capacity for effective, principled action, implying that righteous aims are pursued best with competent and trustworthy allies.
Immediately after the challenge and preparations, Sugriva turns to Rama and begins to speak, setting up guidance and the next steps in confronting Vali.
Discernment and respect—Sugriva acknowledges Rama’s capability (kriyādakṣa), valuing competent dharmic action.
