'Powerful Vali is valiant and has killed brave fighters. He is well-known for his prowess and valour. He has not faced defeat in war.
Dharma requires facing truth about power and consequences: acknowledging Vālī’s undefeated status prevents unjust or ill-planned conflict and supports righteous, responsible action.
Sugriva continues warning Rama by describing Vālī’s established record as an unconquered warrior.
Truthful counsel (satya-vacana): Sugriva offers an unvarnished portrayal of the threat.
