रामसंवादः — Parashurama Confronts Rama with the Vaishnava Bow

विरोधे च महद्युद्धमभवद्रोमहर्षणम् ।शितिकण्ठस्य विष्णोश्च परस्परजिगीषुणो:।।।।

virodhe ca mahad yuddham abhavad romaharṣaṇam | śitikaṇṭhasya viṣṇoś ca paraspara-jigīṣuṇoḥ || 1.75.16 ||

Từ sự đối địch ấy bèn phát sinh một trận đại chiến rợn người, giữa Śitikaṇṭha (Śiva) và Viṣṇu, khi cả hai đều quyết giành phần thắng trước nhau.
