Hrasvaroma, was a religious king. He was a great soul. Of his two sons. I am theeldest and valiant Kusadhwaja is my younger brother.
Dharma is linked to rightful lineage and responsibility: identifying oneself truthfully (satya) and acknowledging familial roles is part of ethical conduct, especially in solemn rites like marriage alliances.
Janaka identifies himself and his brother within the genealogy he is presenting to Vasiṣṭha.
Truthful self-identification and respect for dharmic order in family hierarchy (elder/younger roles).
