Conclusion of the Descent of Gaṅgā
प्लावयस्व त्वमात्मानं नरोत्तम सदोचिते।सलिले पुरुषव्याघ्र शुचि: पुण्यफलो भव।।1.44.14।।
plāvayasva tvam ātmānaṃ narottama sadocite | salile puruṣavyāghra śuciḥ puṇyaphalo bhava || 1.44.14 ||
Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong loài người, hỡi mãnh hổ giữa nhân gian—hãy tự mình dìm tắm trong dòng nước thiêng này, vốn luôn xứng hợp; trong làn nước ấy, hãy trở nên thanh tịnh, và để công đức thánh thiện làm quả báo.
O Best among men! O Tiger among men! take a dip in the eternally sacred waters, purify yourself and acquire holiness.
