The Line of Kuśa and the Disfigurement of Kuśanābha’s Daughters by Vāyu
अन्तश्चरसि भूतानां सर्वेषां त्वं सुरोत्तम ।प्रभावज्ञा: स्म ते सर्वा: किमस्मानवमन्यसे।।।।
antaś carasi bhūtānāṃ sarveṣāṃ tvaṃ surottama |
prabhāvajñāḥ sma te sarvāḥ kim asmān avamanyase || 1.32.19 ||
“Ôi bậc tối thượng giữa chư thiên, Ngài đi vào trong mọi loài hữu tình. Chúng con đều biết uy lực của Ngài—cớ sao Ngài lại khinh mạn chúng con?”
That great soul, Kusa, married the princess of Vidarbha born in a noble family and a match for him. He begot four virtuous sons who resembled him. They were Kusamba, Kusanabha, Adhurtarajas and Vasu.
