कलापिनौ धनुष्पाणी शोभमानौ दिशो दश ।विश्वामित्रं महात्मानं त्रिशीर्षाविव पन्नगौ।।1.22.7।।अनुजग्मतुरक्षुद्रौ पितामहमिवाश्विनौ।
kalāpinau dhanuṣpāṇī śobhamānau diśo daśa |
viśvāmitraṁ mahātmānaṁ triśīrṣāv iva pannagau || 1.22.7 ||
anujagmatur akṣudrau pitāmaham ivāśvinau |
Mang tên và cung trong tay, hai vị rạng ngời khắp mười phương; như đôi rắn ba đầu, các ngài theo sau Đại hồn Viśvāmitra—hùng lực không suy—tựa đôi Aśvin theo Phạm Thiên (Brahmā), Đấng Tổ Phụ.
Rama and Lakshmana equipped with bows and quivers resembled three hooded serpents. Warriors of no less prowess, they illuminated the ten quarters and followed the high souled Viswamitra like twin Aswanikumaras following the grandsire, Brahma.
Strength is framed as protective dharma: martial readiness is not aggression but disciplined power aligned to a righteous guide.
The poet describes the princes’ armed radiance and their close following of Viśvāmitra through elevated similes.
