Transliteration

plakṣaśākhāsu yajñānām anyeṣāṃ kriyate haviḥ |

aśvamedhasya yajñasya vaitaso bhāga iṣyate ||

Translation

Trong các tế lễ khác, vật hiến được dâng bằng cành cây plakṣa; còn trong đại tế Aśvamedha, phần vaitasa (sậy/cane) mới là điều được quy định.
