Transliteration

aprahṛṣṭa-manuṣyā ca dīna-nāga-turaṅgamā |

ārta-svara-parimlānā viniśśvasita-nisvanā ||2.59.19||

Translation

Dân thành chẳng còn hoan hỷ; voi ngựa cũng rũ rượi tinh thần. Kinh đô như héo mòn bởi tiếng kêu than, vang dội những hơi thở dài tuyệt vọng.
