Withdrawal of the Coronation: Rama’s Counsel to Lakshmana
न लक्ष्मणास्मिन्खलु कर्मविघ्नेमाता यवीयस्यतिशङ्कनीया।दैवाभिपन्ना हि वदत्यनिष्टंजानासि दैवं च तथा प्रभावम्।।।।
na lakṣmaṇāsmin khalu karma-vighne mātā yavīyasī atiśaṅkanīyā | daivābhipannā hi vadaty aniṣṭaṃ jānāsi daivaṃ ca tathā prabhāvam ||
Hỡi Lakṣmaṇa, trong sự ngăn trở đối với việc định làm này, chớ quá nghi ngờ người mẹ trẻ của chúng ta. Bị số mệnh chi phối nên bà nói điều trái ý; em biết sức mạnh của định mệnh và uy lực ấy.
