Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent
गुणान् गुणवतो देव देवकल्पस्य धीमतः।प्रियानानन्दनान्कृत्स्नान्प्रवक्ष्यामोऽद्य तान् शृणु।।2.2.27।।
guṇān guṇavato deva deva-kalpasya dhīmataḥ |
priyān ānandanān kṛtsnān pravakṣyāmo ’dya tān śṛṇu || 2.2.27 ||
Tâu Đại vương, xin lắng nghe: hôm nay chúng thần sẽ nói đầy đủ mọi đức hạnh của vị vương tử hiền đức, trí tuệ, dáng vẻ như chư thiên; những đức ấy được muôn người yêu kính và đem lại hoan hỷ.
O king!, we shall now speak about those great virtues of the sagacious (Rama). Comparable to those of the gods, they are dear and a source of delight for every one. Please listen.
