Jabali’s Pragmatic Counsel to Rama

यदि भुक्तमिहान्येन देहमन्यस्य गच्छति।दद्यात्प्रवसत श्श्राद्धं न तत्पथ्यशनं भवेत्।।।।

yadi bhuktam ihānyena deham anyasya gacchati |

dadyāt pravasataḥ śrāddhaṁ na tat pathyaśanaṁ bhavet ||

Nếu thức ăn do người này ăn ở đây lại có thể đến và trở thành thân thể của người khác, thì cũng có thể làm lễ śrāddha cho kẻ chỉ đi xa; vậy lễ cúng ấy há sẽ thành bữa ăn cho người ấy trên đường sao?
