Thấy Bharata—bậc hiển danh—đau khổ tột cùng, than khóc não nề, Rāma, người tâm chí kiên định và tự chủ, liền an ủi em.
Having seen the illustrious Bharata lamenting that way, Rama, a man of firm determination and self-possession, consoled him thus:
Dharma is upheld with compassion: steadiness of mind (self-control) is paired with the duty to console and guide those in distress.
After Bharata’s intense lament and appeal, Rāma responds not with anger or triumph but by reassuring him.
Rāma’s self-mastery (ātma-vattā) and empathetic leadership—he remains calm and supports Bharata emotionally.
