Entry into Agastya’s Hermitage and the Gift of Divine Weapons
O bestower of honour, receive this bow, the two quivers, the sword and the arrow for your victory just like Indra accepts the thunderbolt.
Dharma as cosmic order: violence is justified only as a last-resort defense to restore balance and protect the righteous.
Agastya explains the sacred history of the bow, linking it to Viṣṇu’s demon-slaying for the gods’ welfare.
Righteous guardianship—strength used to restore peace and prosperity rather than to dominate.
