FAQs

A public spectacle: everyone watches in astonishment as two figures, remarkably light and agile, cut up variegated hides.

It signals that the action is extraordinary—either due to superhuman speed/lightness or a wondrous, divinely charged event within the narrative.

From this isolated line, the clearest theme is the portrayal of marvel (adbhuta) and public witnessing; a specific ethical teaching requires the surrounding verses and speaker context.
