Narasiṃha’s Greatness and the Slaying of Hiraṇyakaśipu
Boon, Portents, and Cosmic Restoration

He claims that no class of beings—divine, demonic, semi-divine, or human (including piśācas)—will be capable of killing him, implying a boon-based invulnerability.
Such invincibility claims typically set the stage for a divine intervention that transcends ordinary categories of beings, highlighting the supremacy of the Lord beyond conventional classifications.
The verse reflects the danger of pride rooted in power or boons: confidence in worldly protections can become hubris, which Purāṇic narratives often portray as leading to downfall.
