FAQs

“Kalpānte” refers to the end of a kalpa (aeon), a cosmic turning-point associated with dissolution (pralaya), when manifested worlds and beings are withdrawn.

It signals a cosmic condition where tamas (inertia/darkness) predominates—an emblem of dissolution, obscuration of order, and the onset of a terrifying transformative phase.

The verse emphasizes impermanence: all embodied existence is subject to cosmic cycles, encouraging detachment, humility, and spiritual orientation beyond transient forms.
