Unspecified (a devotional voice within the narrative; a śaraṇāgati-stuti to Vāsudeva)

Concept: Vāsudeva is the inner form of yajña and the highest truth; He pervades worlds as the one consciousness while remaining Lord over māyā.

Application: Offer daily actions as yajña (service, charity, honest work) with remembrance of Viṣṇu; see the sacred in duty rather than separating ‘ritual’ and ‘life’.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A grand cosmic yajña unfolds where the altar is the universe itself: constellations form the vedi, the sun is the āhavanīya fire, and offerings rise as luminous mantras. At the center, Vāsudeva appears as Yajña-Puruṣa—His body subtly composed of ritual implements—while māyā is shown as a translucent veil swirling harmlessly around Him.","primary_figures":["Vāsudeva as Yajña-Puruṣa","Ṛtvij sages","Personified Māyā (as a veil/śakti)"],"setting":"Celestial sacrificial arena with lotus-geometry, fire altars, and planetary lamps suspended in space.","lighting_mood":"divine radiance","color_palette":["flame orange","cosmic violet","antique gold","deep ultramarine","ash white"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Vāsudeva as Yajña-Puruṣa with gold-leaf aura, ritual implements (sruk, sruva, kuśa) stylized into ornamentation; blazing homa fire rendered with embossed gold; sages as priests; māyā as a translucent patterned veil; rich maroons and greens with heavy jewelry and temple-like framing.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: refined cosmic yajña scene with delicate fires, thin smoke lines turning into Sanskrit syllables; Vāsudeva calm at center; sages in soft whites and ochres; subtle starry sky and lotus geometry; gentle shading and lyrical balance.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: symmetrical yajña layout, bold outlines, patterned flames, Vāsudeva central with characteristic eyes; māyā as swirling decorative band; strong reds/yellows/greens with black contouring, mural border motifs of conch and discus.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: universe-as-altar with concentric lotus rings, Vāsudeva central; mantra-smoke as floral vines; ornate borders with repeated yajña symbols and lotuses; deep indigo ground with gold and vermilion highlights, intricate textile detailing."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"dramatic","suggested_raga":"Durga","pace":"moderate-narrative","voice_tone":"authoritative","sound_elements":["homa fire crackle","vedic chanting undertone","conch shell","temple bells"]}

Sandhi Resolution Notes:

FAQs

By calling him “yajñāṅgarūpa,” it identifies Vāsudeva as the very embodiment of sacrificial order—suggesting that sacred action and its cosmic structure ultimately rest in him.

It indicates that the Supreme is connected with māyā (the power by which the universe appears and functions), yet remains “paramārtha-rūpa,” the highest reality beyond mere appearance.

The verse teaches śaraṇāgati—taking refuge in the Supreme—uniting devotion with insight by affirming Vāsudeva as the one consciousness and the support of all worlds.
