तीर्थयात्राप्रसंगेन अटते मेदिनीं ततः । मां त्यक्त्वा स गतः स्वामी निर्दोषां पापवर्जिताम्

tīrthayātrāprasaṃgena aṭate medinīṃ tataḥ | māṃ tyaktvā sa gataḥ svāmī nirdoṣāṃ pāpavarjitām

Lấy cớ đi hành hương các tīrtha, chàng bèn lang thang khắp cõi đất. Phu quân ta đã ra đi, bỏ lại ta—người vô tội, xa lìa tội lỗi.
