It teaches that even a seemingly small tirtha-bath (goṣpada-snāna) can yield great merit, culminating in reaching Nārāyaṇa’s abode—where the cycle of sorrow ends.
The verse links a devotional act connected to a tirtha (snāna done with faith) to the supreme fruit: attaining Nārāyaṇa’s presence, which is the bhakti ideal of refuge and final freedom from grief.
Ritual practice (kalpa-oriented conduct) is implied: the simple rite of snāna at a sanctified spot and its stated phala (result), emphasizing correct observance and faith in tirtha-vidhi rather than technical astrology or grammar.
