Con cúi lạy Đấng Purusha nguyên thủy—Chúa tể, Đấng làm chủ muôn loài, Đấng bao trùm khắp, hướng mặt về mọi phương. Con đảnh lễ Thần Tối Thượng, vô phân, chí tôn, Đấng Sanātana vĩnh hằng.
Narada (invocatory praise within the chapter’s devotional discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It is a surrender-prayer (praṇāma) that identifies the Supreme as primeval, all-sovereign, all-seeing, and beyond parts—pointing devotion toward the eternal Parameśvara (commonly understood here as Vishnu).
Bhakti is expressed through humble prostration and remembrance of the Lord’s supreme attributes—omnipresence (sarvaśa), all-direction vision (sarvatomukha), and eternality (sanātana)—which stabilizes the mind in reverent dependence on God.
No specific Vedanga technique is taught in this verse; its practical takeaway is mantra-style stuti usage in pūjā and japa—reciting divine epithets to cultivate single-pointed devotion.
