“Om—kính lễ Daśaharā; kính lễ Nārāyaṇī Gaṅgā.” Phàm người phàm tục nào, trong chính ngày ấy, nếu trì tụng thần chú này thì (trì tụng) suốt ngày đêm.
Narada (in dialogue context of Uttara-Bhaga tirtha-mahatmya teachings, traditionally framed through Narada’s narration)
Vrata: Daśaharā (Gaṅgā-related sacred day)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a concise Gaṅgā-mantra tied to Daśaharā, emphasizing continuous remembrance (day and night) as a means of purification and sacred merit within the Gaṅgā-māhātmya context.
Bhakti is expressed through nāma-mantra and namaskāra: the devotee honors Gaṅgā as Nārāyaṇī—inseparable from Nārāyaṇa—making simple, repeated mantra-japa a direct devotional act.
Ritual application (kalpa/prayoga) is implied: a specific mantra is prescribed for a specific sacred day (Daśaharā), indicating timed observance and disciplined japa as the practical takeaway.
