Transliteration

kāle kālavidāṃ śreṣṭhaḥ saṃprāptaḥ kārtikaḥ śubhaḥ | nidrāchedakaro viṣṇoḥ sa māsaḥ puṇyadāyakaḥ || 16 ||

Translation

Trong các mùa và các thời điểm linh thiêng, tháng Kārtika cát tường—bậc nhất đối với những người am tường thời pháp—đã đến. Tháng ấy phá tan giấc ngủ của Đức Viṣṇu; chính là tháng ban phước đức (puṇya).
