The Narrative of the Pativrata

मोहिन्या कर्णयोश्चक्रे स्वयमेव वृषांगदः । अष्टोत्तरसहस्रैश्च धात्रीफलनिभैः शुभैः ॥ ३५ ॥

mohinyā karṇayoścakre svayameva vṛṣāṃgadaḥ | aṣṭottarasahasraiśca dhātrīphalanibhaiḥ śubhaiḥ || 35 ||

Vì Mohinī—sức huyễn của Māyā—Vṛṣāṅgada tự tay làm đôi khuyên cho tai nàng, những khuyên cát tường, nạm một ngàn lẻ tám viên ngọc, mỗi viên tựa trái dhātrī (āmalakī).
